it seems the plan XIII of french was as good as the schliffien plan so why it don t fonction as the german attack plan?it s curious.it s maybe because the number of german troops are more important

yes the french plan XIII is the attack plan o 1914 it s the same as schlieffen plan.attack the alsace lorraine and attack the germany by the East.do not agressiv.understand?if i question about that that s because i don t know lot about this plan

There you may see both plans. The french plan had the aim to occupie the Elsaß and parts of Lothringen. The Schlieffen Plan had the aim to beat the french army at a whole.

I haven´t understood the whole plan exactly. I need more information about it, but even google can´t find anything. And i want to know about this.
@Jagdpanther: would it be possible to make a report about this french plan and the plans of the fighting nations in general ? I think it would be interesting for many people because most of us only know the schlieffen -plan.

yes jagdpanther can write a article about the plan no?yes that s no easier to write article but i think if the people know only the plan schlieffen that will be good to write about plan XIII

I already wrote something about it, in the article about the Marne battle. The French battle plan intended to launch an attack against Elsass-Lothringen and the Pfalz, but its crucial flaw was that it relied on the Germans to strike first. Had the Schlieffen plan worked correctly, it would have played into the Germans hands: most of the French army would have been positioned in the southern parts of the border, where it would have been cut off by the huge German flank movement behind the front.
